What is mynjgov.com, and what can I do here?
mynjgov.com is one place to find, fill out and track local government forms for New Jersey towns, such as dog licenses, permits and registrations. Search by your town or by what you need, fill out the form, and follow its status after you submit. What you can do depends on which services your town offers online.
Who runs this site? Is it the State, my town, or a private company?
The Statewide New Jersey Portal is built and run by GovPilot, the company many New Jersey towns already use for their online forms. It is not the State of New Jersey's site. Your town still receives and decides on your application. Each town's page shows the town's own name and seal.
Why doesn't my town offer the service I need on the portal?
Each town decides which services it offers online. If a service isn't on the Statewide New Jersey Portal for your town, the portal says so. Ask your town how to apply. During the beta, some services are still being added. If something you used to file online is missing, tell your town.

Can I still use my town's old online form instead?
Yes. Your town's existing online forms still work. Your town decides when to point its website to the new portal.
Is my town on the Statewide New Jersey Portal? How do I check?
Search for your town on mynjgov.com, or enter your address. Your town's page on the Statewide New Jersey Portal lists the services it offers online. If your town is not on the Statewide New Jersey Portal, its page says so and asks you to contact your town hall. If your town is coming to the Statewide New Jersey Portal soon, or has no services online yet, its page says that too and tells you where to go until then.
How do I report a problem, such as a pothole, a barking dog or missed trash?
Use Report a Concern on the Statewide New Jersey Portal, where your town offers it. Search for what happened, such as "pothole", or open Report a Concern on your town's page, and give the address. During the beta, most towns do not take reports through the Statewide New Jersey Portal yet. If the page says nothing was sent to your town, contact your town. In an emergency, call 911.
